Two suspected serial killers, Umar Sada and Ahmed Adamu – both 22 years old – are currently being interrogated by the police in Katsina State for allegedly killing three commercial motorcyclists in the state.

The two suspects were also accused of always snatching motorcycles from their victims, which they later resold to unsuspecting members of the public.

The state Commissioner of Police, Usman Abdullahi, who confirmed the development, said Umar and Ahmed would be arraigned in court after the completion of investigation.

It was learnt that the two suspects had in recent times allegedly murdered no fewer than three commercial motorcyclists within Katsina town.

The police commissioner said the suspects always lured their victims with big money, after begging them to take them to a location in the town.

Abdullahi said, “Along the way, the suspects would use a cable to strangle their victims and later dumped their dead bodies somewhere, before getting away with the motorcycles. They would then go and sell the motorcycles at very ridiculous prices.”

The police boss further revealed that a team he recently set up, CP Surveillance Squad, arrested Umar and Ahmed on Monday .

He appealed to members of the public, especially those who patronised commercial motorcyclists, to be security conscious and to always be on the alert.

Umar and Ahmed, who both resided at the Kofar Sauri area of the state, confessed to killing the three commercial motorcyclists.
