Boko Haram Terrorists Takes Over Town In Yobe After Fierce Battle With The Nigerian Army

According to new reports, Boko Haram terrorists in a convoy of vans and motorcycles have taken over Sasawa town in Yobe State, which is about 30 kilometres from Damaturu, the state capital, after fierce battle with Nigerian troops yesterday, Sunday, 5th, Feb.

According to eyewitnesses, the terrorists came in droves on Sunday evening and sacked the troops stationed in the town.

Residents scampered for safety as the terrorists detonated explosive devices and fired gunshots sporadically.

Details are still sketchy but credible sources said heavy casualty was recorded from both sides.
